Als quasi kleines Arts-Special begleitet Label-Head Emmanuel diesmal ein bisher in seinem beachtlichen Label-Konstrukt recht neues Gesicht in den Schwarzen Raum. Im Herbst letzten Jahres fand die erste Veröffentlichung von JoeFarr auf dem Sub-Label Arts Collective statt, der bis dahin mit einer Labelspanne von Turbo über Hypercolour bis zu Leisure System mit basslastigem Lofi-Techno eine nahezu beispiellose Discografie hinlegte. Mit der EP „Dedicate“ passt er sich deutlich melodischer und durchproduzierter dem Label an, was durch Emmanuels Remix des Titeltracks nochmals par excellence geführt wird. Ihre Wandlungsfähigkeit von soliden Techno- zu ebenso direkt von Herzen kommenden House-Sets beweist die Ägyptisch-Polnische Magda El Bayoumi uns diesmal als Opener im Grünen Raum, wo Nick Anthony Simoncino übernimmt. Ganze zwei Alben entsprangen neben diversen EPs dem kreativen Händchen des Italieners seit seinem letzten Besuch vor zwei Jahren, einmal ganz aktuell für Rawax und nur wenige Monate zuvor für Vibraphone Records – und jeweils auch noch megafett! Mit soeben frisch erschienenem Piano-Garage-Dance-Release auf dem Münchner Imprint Public Possession trifft zudem der Moskauer Lipelis im Roten Raum auf Filippo Moscatello, dessen einstigem Alias DJ Naughty wir einige der wohl bekanntesten Klassiker auf International Deejay Gigolo Records verdanken.
The Arts-label by Emmanuel brings one of its newest faces to the Black Room for this edition of Nebel: British DJ and producer JoeFarr stepped into the label history first last autumn, after several releases on labels such as Turbo Recordings,Hypercolour or Berlin-based Leisure System. For his ep “Dedicate” on the sub-label Arts Collective he changed from hard pumpin’ techno and UK-bass distortion to the more typical melodic peak-time-sound the Italian label stands for. The Green Room gets started with Tresor-resident Magda El Bayoumi, devolving her house side and showing her versatility to warm grooves this time, which will be took over by Nick Anthony Simoncino. Since his last visit two years ago our second guest from Italy came up with two LPs, the newest “Nothing good happens before midnight” on Rawax, which just hit the stores these days, also features two collaborations with Detroit-legend Luke Hess. High-class deep house tunes for sure! And there is truly nothing else to say about the fresh piano-garage-house release of Lipelis, our friend from Moscow. Tonight he plays in the Red Room besides Filippo Moscatello, who already reached legendary status with his early electro-influenced EPs on International Deejay Gigolo Records as DJ Naughty and his ollow-up album on Moodmusic under his moniker.
