Sehr renatig wird es zur kommenden Liquid, die mit Session Victim einen der dienstältesten Headliner aller Renate-Zeiten bereithält. Das Duo besiegelte 2011 mit dem Track „Good Intentions“ seine Karriere und ist seither mit einem ganz eigenen musikalischen Mix unterwegs. Den gab es bisher zu hören auf drei Alben, allesamt auf Delusions of Grandeur, wo auch Anfang des Jahres die letzte EP der beiden erschien. Gastmusiker wie Erobique und Jimpster verhelfen der „Dawn EP“ zusätzlich zum typischen Nu-Disco-angehauchten Deep House des Duos, das diesmal den Grünen Raum eröffnet. Das Closing übernimmt nach Johannes Albert - ebenfalls sehr renatig - das Booking-Oberhaupt des Papaya Playa Project Moses aus Tulum in Mexiko. Dieses Jahr ging sein Label Matéria Exótica an den Start, das mit dem ersten Release „Blue Boat“ deutlichst die smoothe House-Schiene fährt. Ansonsten füllt sich das Line-up mit Sado Opera, die wieder im Absinth das Love Radio anschmeißen, Zola vom Berlin Bass Collective, Nyn und S Ruston nur mit bestens Renate-erprobten Künstlern.
Liquid in August has the best Renate talents who have graced our decks many a time alongside vetran Renatian Session Victim. The duo sealed its career in 2011 with the track "Good Intentions" and has since gone on a very special musical style, heard on three albums, all on Delusions of Grandeur. The last EP of the two featured guest musicians like Erobique and Jimpster, in addition to the typical nu-disco-inspired deep house of the pair making them a perfect fit to open the Green Room. after the Berlin natives fellow Lichentberger Johannes Albert and Resident will then handover to the booking chief of the Papaya Playa Project; Moses hailing from Tulum, Mexico. This year, his label Matéria Exótica was launched with the first release "Blue Boat". Zola from the Berlin Bass Collective, and family friend Nyn and our effervescent resident S Ruston round off the bill. In the Absinthe Sado Opera blast the waves with their Love Radio show, not to be missed!
