Ganz aktuell auf Sushitech auf ganzen vier Vinyls erhältlich, ist das neue Doppel-Album „Invisibility“ der beiden Rumänen Vlad Caia und Cristi Cons, die seit 2009 gemeinsam das Projekt Sideways Invisibility Theory, kurz SIT, bilden. Zuvor tauchte dieses Jahr bereits ihr Track „Alternate“ inklusive Remix von Steve O’Sullivan auf Yossi Amoyals Label auf, was heute alle drei in den Schwarzen Raum führt. Bei Playhouse bewegte sich Losoul bereits mit seinen ersten Releases vor gut 20 Jahren auf einer der wegweisenden Frankfurter Label-Institutionen und etablierte sich somit einen soliden Ruf als Verfechter der aufs Wesentliche reduzierten und dennoch besonders Instrument-haltigen House-Produktionen. Kürzlich erschien nun nach neun Jahren überraschend sein viertes Album „Island Time“ auf Hypercoleur, das seinen Facettenreichtum erneut in sieben Tracks abbildet. Mit Daniel Bell übernimmt nach ihm ein weiterer Musik-Pionier und nicht umsonst so genannter ‚a DJs DJ‘ des minimalistischen Sounds den Roten Raum, der bereits in den frühen 90ern als DBX und direkt davor - neben Richie Hawtin und John Acquaviva - als ein Drittel des Projektes Cybersonik den entstehenden Minimal Techno maßgeblich beeinflusste. Das folgende Closing-Set von Eric Miller aka Baaz gestaltet sich hier am frühen Mittag zunehmend deep und dubbig.
Recently the Romanian duo Sideways Invisibility Theory, short SIT, released their second lp “Invisibility” on Yossi Amoyal's Sushitech imprint for deep and minimalistic grooves, which take over Wilde Renate again this night with a new edition of Fluere. The project running since 2009 and consisting of Vlad Caia und Cristi Cons also came up with the track "Alternate" earlier this year, with a massive remix of the label's long-term friend Steve O’Sullivan, who presents one of his live-acts at the Black Room. Being part of groundbreaking Frankfurt-based label Playhouse, Losoul made himself a name by producing reduced house sound, always orientating on his knowledge of classical instruments. After nine years he surprisingly returned on Hypercoleur with his fourth lp “Island Time”, still showing a high love for sample-based house sounds. Minimal techno-pioneer and for good reason called ‘a dj’s dj’, Daniel Bell today is maybe still best-known as DBX or member of the Cybersonik project in the beginning of the 90ies, alongside Richie Hawtin and John Acquaviva. The closing-set will be played again by Eric Miller, formerly known as Baaz, while Cabinet Records co-founder ZKY, Daniel Paul and Thomas Melchior are in charge for the Green Room.
