Wilde Renate will introduce the “All Hallows’Eve” a few days earlier this year, celebrating a spooky and very special 90s trance vibe session this Saturday night with a strict dress code! Amongst creepy costumes and creatures, Ejeca presents his different musical side under the moniker Trance Wax in the Black Room. As an anonymous artist, the guy from Belfast started his strictly limited vinyl series two years ago and reanimated some well-known trance classics for today’s dancefloors. Since then he put out four incredible releases with constantly rising prices on discogs which just led to the invitation to compile an also outstanding BBC Radio1 Essential Mix some months ago. One level above Rinse FM host DJ Haus comes back to Renate with his successful label imperium Unknown to the Unknown, bringing in addition to his own new release on Chiwax New York-based artist X-Coast, who was in charge for the new deep grooving house release on Haus’ Hot Haus Recs. Next door Berlin’s finest selectors as Akirahawks and Oye-Records-head Delfonic will dig for some rare grooves of funk and disco-influenced sounds while we are also excited to meet Sado Opera with their Grave Radio at the Absinthe Bar.
Die von uns über die Jahre immer ausgiebig zelebrierte Halloween-Nacht leiten wir diesen Samstag in geliebter Tradition bereits einige Tage vorab ein. Zum kostümierten Treiben mit Grusel-Vorgabe verleiht Ejeca dem Schwarzen Raum als Trance Wax den ultimativen Rave-Charme der 90er, an die seine Reworks verschiedener damaliger Trance-Hits anknüpfen. Angefangen vor gerade einmal zwei Jahren als anonymer Artist auf limitiertem Vinyl, welches mittlerweile horrende Sammler-Preise bei Discogs erreicht, erschien vor wenigen Monaten nicht nur der vierte Teil der Reihe, sondern kurz darauf gleich noch der passende und für Nostalgiker-Herzen höchstinteressante BBC Radio1 Essential Mix. Zwischen pumpenden Acid-House- und Techno-Tracks hingegen bewegt sich im Grünen Raum Rinse FM Host DJ Haus, dessen Label-Imperium um Unknown to the Unknown auch die aktuelle EP des ebenfalls spielenden New Yorkers X-Coast beherbergt. Nebenan sorgt unterdessen der Besuch der Berliner Disco-Ikone Akirahawks neben den ebenso vielseitigen Sets von Sara Miller und Oye-Records-Head Delfonic für Disco und House fernab eines Mainstream-Konsens.
