Having hosted parties across Berlin in Kleine Reise, Loftus Hall, Griessmühle and Diskothek Melancholie 2 before settling in Renate, the sister label to Slow Motion celebrates twelve years of its offshoot, Wrong Era.
To mark the milestone in signature family style, the platform invites several friends and affiliates from the imprint to take over the club. Inspired by new and old European-inspired 80s music, spanning EBM, italo, house, disco, techno, post-punk and more, the label curates a stellar bill to do the honours.
In the Black Room, Polish artist Berlin Bunny weaves punk, industrial and alternative music into one hard-hitting session. There, she's in the company of Berlin-based Australian DJ, producer and member of Pinkman, Kris Baha. Brazilian-born DJ, curator, and BLUM party series member, Paty Vapor, completes the Black Room bill.
Channelling indie dance and techno, Mexican producer and founder of the label Platino Records, Andre VII, plays the Green Room. Italo disco aficionado Franz Scala joins him alongside Modular Gallery founder Nikita Voguel.
It's all about italo and cosmic disco in the Red Room, where Hara Katsiki goes B2B with Radondo, joined by founders of the beloved Fandango party series Murrin & Gill. Telespazio, aka Fabrizio Mammarella, plays under his experimental alias.
Italian Dance Wave DJs play B2B with Audio Vacanze in the snug Absinth space. The hint is in their names.
