Die inzwischen traditionell jährlich bei uns einkehrende What..?-Crew, bestehend aus Künstlern der Agentur Solid AM und dem mittlerweile durch das dazugehörige und natürlich ebenso benannte Label eng verbundenen Tobi Neumann, präsentiert einmal mehr ein beachtliches Booking in unserem Hause. Dabei ist auch Urberliner Sammy Dee, der seit über zwanzig Jahren seine Promoter-Finger im hiesigen Clubgeschehen zwischen Tresor und Panorama Bar hat und dessen Label Ultrastretch zudem Künstlern wie dem ebenfalls vertretenen Giuliano Lomonte eine Plattform, in diesem Fall gar für das erste Release, bot. Aus der Liste an Lieblingsgästen wie Frankfurter DJ-Veteran Dorian Paic und Franky Greiner, der außerhalb des Clubs der Visionäre besonders durch die Duos Pikaya und Alter Mahnn im minimalistischen House mitmischte, sticht diesmal besonders ein Name hervor: Derek Plaslaiko, seines Zeichens treibende Kraft der Detroiter Techno- und House-Szene, gilt schon seit geraumer Zeit nicht grundlos als „a DJs DJ“. Diesen Ruf weiß er gern in über zehn Stunden umfassenden Marathon-Sets, die sich quer durch die elektronischen Musik-Genres schlängeln, mehr als eindrucksvoll zu demonstrieren – was diesmal im Roten Raum geschieht.
Almost traditionally the What..? – Crew returns to us this year again with some artists of the Solid AM including closely linked Tobi Neumann who also was involved in both EPs of the associated and of course equally named label. One of them is Sammy Dee, who definitely made his name for over twenty years in the local club scene between Tresor and Panorama Bar and whose label Ultrastretch strongly supported artists such as also represented Giuliano Lomonte, who had his first release on the label back in 2014. Alongside regular guests like Frankfurt DJ veteran Dorian Paic and Franky Greiner, who is known for his appearances at Club der Visionaere and especially as part of production duos Pikaya and Alter Mahnn, one name stands out for this time: Derek Plaslaiko, a driving force of the Detroit techno and house scene, has often been rated as "a DJs DJ". Also fitting into a more minimalistic house content he plays the red room this time hopefully with one of the marathon-sets that he is well known for.
