Was haben ein paar talentierte junge DJs und Technoproduzenten aus urbanen Großstädten mit dem vorindustriellen Japan gemein? Daito ist der Überbegriff für alle langen Schwerter der Samurai. Anfangs noch als Verwalter in militärisch zu sichernden Randprovinzen eingesetzt, konnten die Samurai ihren Einfluss steigern und stiegen schließlich hinter den Beamten des Kaiserhofs bis zur zweiten Macht des Landes auf. Eine Entwicklung bis zur Speerspitze der Technoszene dürfte Escape To Mars, Cloven und Daito nicht verschlossen bleiben, sollten sie in einem solchen Tempo weiter zum Gipfel preschen. Escape To Mars überzeugte vergangenes Jahr mit seinem Debüt auf Vault Series, dem Label von Subjected, Sawlin und Mørbeck. 4 kantige Techno-Stomper illustrieren seine Idee eines brodelnden Dancefloors. Als Teil von Modul zeigt er sich für diverse weitere starke Platten verantwortlich und holt auf den Labelpartys regelmäßig Rank und Namen des Techno hinter die Plattenteller. Auch Cloven kennt man neben seinen energetischen Techno-Sets vor allem als Aushängeschild der Repetition Party im Schumacher Club in Bochum. Dort holt er sich vertraute Gesichter wie Blind Observatory, Freddy K oder Answer Code Request an seine Seite. Daito wiederum debütierte vergangenes Jahr auf unserem hauseigenen Label Rituals mit dem sphärischen Peak-Time Knaller „The Temple“. Sein dieses Jahr erschienener Remix für Elad Magdasi ist noch eine Spur roher und einschneidend wie die Klingen der Tachi, Katana und Nodachi. Das Ende der Fahnenstange ist hier noch längst nicht erreicht.

Initially used as a steward in militarily secured border provinces, the samurai were able to increase their influence and eventually rose behind the officials of the imperial court to the second powers of the country. It should be no secret Escape To Mars, Cloven and Daito spearhead an evolution in the techno scene and they will surely rush at such a pace further to the summit. Last year Escape To Mars impressed with his debut release on Vault Series, Subjected, Sawlin and Mørbeck's label. 4 edgy techno stompers illustrate his idea of a seething dance floor. As part of Modul, he’s responsible for several other strong records and through the label parties, regularly brings rank and name of techno behind the turntables. In addition to his energetic techno sets, Cloven is known above all as a figurehead of the Repetition Party at the Schumacher Club in Bochum.
