Die Techno-Community hält große Stücke auf das italienische DJ- und Produzenten-Duo Asymptote, die als Residents der „Resitance is Techno“ Reihe in Rom für Furore sorgen. Deutlich wird dies am qualitativ hochwertig bestückten Remix-Programm der ersten beiden Singles. Diese beinhalten Interpretationen etwas von Psyk, Reeko oder Oscar Mulero. Letztgenannter ist Teil der gerade veröffentlichten Platte „Belief System“. Auf den drei Tracks schlagen Asymptote ravigere Töne an, während Mulero sich mit reduzierteren und dafür umso hypnotischeren Vibes eher in Tradition der Debüt-Single befindet. Noch ganz frisch ist auch das Debütalbum von Izars. Während er in seinen DJ-Sets stringent und four to the floor zu Werke geht, ist „Looking fort the truth“ spielerischer ausgestaltet. Pompöse Melodiebögen wie in „No Drama“ oder „NDA“ gehen eine Liaison mit heruntergestrippten Drums ein, die als stehendes Fundament fungieren. Karlst und Artik komplettieren das hochwertige Line-up.

The techno community expects great things of the Italian DJ and producer duo Asymptote, who are causing a sensation as residents of the "Resitance is Techno" series in Rome. This is clear on the high-quality equipped remix program of the first two releases. These include interpretations of Psyk, Reeko and Oscar Mulero, for example. The latter is part of the recently released record "Belief System". On the three tracks Asymptote beat more ravey tones, while Mulero is more reduced and hypnotic vibes in the style of the debut single. The debut album from Izars is still fresh. While he works stringently with four to the floor in his DJ sets, "Looking for the truth" is more playful. Grandiose melodies like those in "No Drama" or "NDA" enter into a liaison with dripped-down drums that act as a standing foundation. Karlst and Artik complete the high-quality line-up.
