On November 9th 2019, on the day of the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, Clubcommission Berlin is hosting the European Club Night in Berlin. At the European Club Night music clubs and collectives from 27 countries across the continent will takeover and run 27 club different club nights in 27 of Berlin’s clubs.
Today we take for granted the ability, as Europeans to travel, work and celebrate together freely. Yet across the globe military conflicts continue, whilst repressed and marginalized groups are further limited by ingrained systems and immigration policies that stifle communities freedom of movement.
The European Club Night gives us the opportunity to come together through music and to create awareness about the social and cultural significance that the 30th anniversary that the fall of the Berlin Wall marks.
The venues participate with their resident artists and crew members, joined by many regular guests from their home city who will also travel to Berlin. The event will also inspire to build up long-term partnerships and to maintain regular artistic exchange.
To kick off the event, Clubcommission Berlin will present a "European Manifesto of Club Culture" in which the 54 participating clubs position themselves against racism, fascism and sexism. To show that the European continent does not stop at the EU borders, clubs from countries like Switzerland, Norway, Georgia, Russia and Great Britain are also involved in the event.

Am Samstag, den 09.11.2019 findet in Berlin die European Club Night statt, veranstaltet von der Clubcommission Berlin. 27 Musikclubs aus 27 europäischen Ländern kollaborieren dabei mit jeweils einem Berliner Club.
Heute ist es für die meisten Europäer selbstverständlich, frei zu reisen, zu arbeiten und natürlich auch gemeinsam zu feiern. Die European Club Night greift diesen Gedanken auf und gibt jungen Menschen die Möglichkeit, sich über Musik und Communities zu vernetzen und sich am Tag des 30. Jubiläums des Mauerfalls über Werte und Errungenschaften auf dem europäischen Kontinent bewusst zu werden.
Den teilnehmenden Clubs, Veranstaltungskollektiven und Künstlern soll die Veranstaltung helfen, in Folge langfristige Partnerschaften aufzubauen und im regelmäßigen künstlerischen Austausch zu bleiben.
Zum Auftakt der Veranstaltung wird von der Clubcommission ein europäisches Manifest für Clubkultur vorgestellt, in dem sich die 54 beteiligten Clubs gegen Rassismus, Faschismus und Sexismus positionieren.
Um aufzuzeigen, dass Europa nicht an den EU Grenzen aufhört, wurden auch Clubs aus Ländern wie die Schweiz, Norwegen, Georgien, Russland und Großbritannien in die Veranstaltung eingebunden.
