Gebrüder Teichmann (festplatten, noland, kompakt a.d., berlin)

30 years together on stage, 20 years Festplatten Label, 10 years Festplatten Family im Suicide.
2019 is the year of anniversaries for the Festplatten Familie and the Teichmann brothers.

Review number 1:
1999 saw the first release of the brothers, then still under the names ha.te and andi orange, on their Festplatten label.
The KOMPAKT conglomerate, which emerged from the Delirium in Cologne, quickly became aware of the two Regensburg energy bundles and took over the distribution of the young label.
With their first release "Aus der Ferne", Kompakt 14, the two were incorporated into Gebrüder Teichmann at Wolfgang Voigt's suggestion and into the Cologne Klüngel for the next few years.
One of the first invitations to Cologne was their appearance at the legendary "Total Confusion" series of Tobias Thomas and Michael Mayer in Studio672. On this evening they learned how to build up an evening musically and how this determines the dynamics of a successful party until the end.

Review number 2:
In 2009, the Teichmännner and Dj Flush curiously walked across the RAW grounds, where they were busy hammering and building, in search of the new Suicide Circus, because a fixed institution of the early Berlin techno years was about to reopen.
While the club zeitgeist of the late 00 years became more Posh, the Suicide offered the raw industrial charm of a classic Berlin club and the Brüder Festplatten label family found a new home here.

And to close the circle, so that the records can continue to spin, the Teichmänner invite Tobias Thomas and Clé, two darlings, trailblazers and companions, to the plates.
We are especially happy that we were able to inspire Tobias Thomas to do what he has elevated to a DJ discipline of his own:
The artistic structure of the evening and the slow, steady transformation into an explosive party; from 0 to 100 in two hours!
Tobias will be standing at the plates from midnight.
Since his days as a resident at the legendary E-Werk, Clé has been an integral part of Berlin's club culture.
He is the perfect combination of elegance, style and electronic dance music and guides the party crowd through the night with a sure hand and selected vinyl. And here another circle closes, because around 1995 Hannes Teichmann played his first set in Berlin, at Clé FC in the old Suicide Circus in Mitte - later in the Discount.
Embraced by so much wonderful energy, the Teichmann brothers will musically contribute to the evening and with great enthusiasm combine pearls from 25 years of DJ-ing with a global claim to music.

...oh yes, a 40th anniversary is also celebrated.
