Timeshift versteht sich als Nährboden für Bolognas experimentellere elektronische Musik. Als Veranstaltungsreihe holte man von Helena Hauff über Anthony Parasole und Blawan bereits etliche Künstler von Rank und Namen in die italienische Universitätsstadt. Misbehaviours ist dabei die erste handfeste Ansage des hausgemachten und frisch aus der Taufe gehobenen Labels Shifting Records. Die vier Tracks von Computer Numerical Control und Kobold sind eine Ode an die raueren Seiten von Techno und verbinden Einflüsse aus EBM und Noise mit schroffen Vocals. Ein Statement an das was CNC, Kobold, Gødel und Poison Affair auch hinter den Decks ausdrücken wollen. Die Initiatoren schwingen sich also auf, dem durch ihre Gäste gegebenen Sound eine eigene Note einzuverleiben.

Timeshift is the breeding ground for Bologna's more experimental electronic music. Through a series of events with Helena Hauff, Anthony Parasole and Blawan, several artists of high calibre have already been introduced to the Italian university town. Misbehaviours is the first announcement of the homemade and freshly baptized label, Shifting Records. The four tracks of Computer Numerical Control and Kobold are an ode to the rougher side of Techno and combine influences from EBM and noise with rugged vocals. A declaration of what CNS, Kobold, Gødel and Poison Affair also want to express behind the decks. So the initiators are swinging to add their own note to the sound given by their guests.
