Was für ein enorm versatiler DJ- und Produzent Daniel Stefanik ist, hat er in seiner über 20-jährigen Karriere zu genüge unter Beweis gestellt. 4 Alben, unter anderem für Cocoon und eine grandiose 3x12 Compilation für Kann (unbedingt reinhören!) schlagen genauso zu Buche wie eine Residency in der Leipziger Distillery. Stilistisch irgendwo zwischen House und Techno zu verorten hat sich Stefanik nie einer festen Nische verschrieben. Der rote Faden war, wenn überhaupt eine jackende, groovende Komponente, die seine Arbeit seit jeher durchzieht. Mit seinen Wegbegleitern Matthias Tanzmann und Mathias Kaden kreuzt er dabei stetig die Wege. Letzterer wird dieses Jahr im Rahmen von Stefaniks neuem Album Teil einer Back To Back Tour sein, die Jazz-Produktionen mit Modularsystemen und akustischer Begleitung einfängt. Wir dürfen gespannt sein, was er sich am heutigen Abend für uns ausgedacht hat. Unterstützung gibt es von Damage Music Mastermind Alexander Kowalski alias d_func sowie Alexander Lukat.

Daniel Stefanik has proven time and again what an enormously versatile DJ and producer he is in his over 20-year career. 4 albums, including for Cocoon and a terrific 3x12” compilation for Kann (listen to it!) having as much of an effect as a residency at the Distillery, Leipzig. Stylistically somewhere between house and techno, Stefanik has never dedicated himself a solid niche. The common thread was, if at all, a jacking, grooving component that has always worked its way through. With his companions Matthias Tanzmann and Mathias Kaden, he constantly crosses musical paths. The latter will be part of a Back To Back tour as part of Stefanik's new album this year, capturing jazz productions with modular systems and acoustic accompaniment. We are looking forward to what he comes up with for us this evening. Support comes from Damage Music mastermind Alexander Kowalski aka d_func and Alexander Lukat.
