Im goldenen Schimmer der Sonne zeigt sich der August von seiner schönsten Seite. Am vierten Samstag im August lädt euch FORMS & FIGURES ein unter den Sternen zu tanzen. So erschaffen wir aus der tropischen Nacht unseren ganz eigenen Sommernachtstraum.
Unsere musikalische Reise beginnt mit MILA STERN. Nicht nur als DJ, sondern auch durch ihre eigenen Events, zeigt sie immer wieder auf, wie wichtig Solidarität und Menschlichkeit sind. Als Teil der Station Endlos Crew schiebt sie uns beim Summer Night Open Air mit grob geschätzten 123,4 BPM wie eine Wühlmaus mit wippendem Rave-Stick direkt Richtung Tanzfläche.
Nach ihr übernimmt SID LE ROCK hinter‘m DJ Pult. Der gebürtige Kanadier, auch bekannt unter seinem Alias Pan/Tone, mischt bereits seit den 2000ern in der Szene mit und releaste unter anderem auf Labels wie My Favorite Robot, Shitkatapult oder Kompakt. Sein spezieller Sound mit Einflüssen aus Synth-Pop und Electro ist schwer zu beschreiben und fährt uns gleichzeitig sofort in die Beine.
In ANNETT GAPSTREAMs melodische, deepe Sets haben wir uns zum BdT- Festival 2018 direkt verguckt. Ihre impulsive und teils düstere Interpretation von Techno reißt auch die letzten vom Hocker, die bis dahin vielleicht nicht richtig hingehört haben.
Während die Sonne bereits über uns steht, wird der Sound zum Closing-Set am dunkelsten mit SAMO RANE. Seit seiner Flucht aus dem Iran im Jahr 2016 setzt sich Samo mit Leib und Seele ein für eine bessere Welt ohne Rassismus, Faschismus oder Sexismus. Seine tanzbare Botschaft vermittelt der Art bei Ton- Resident durch eigene Produktionen, aber auch durch seine Podcast Serie MercyTechno.
Auch wir wollen einen Beitrag zu dieser Vision einer besseren Welt leisten. Deswegen unterstützen wir gemeinsam mit euch und dem Suicide Club das Projekt Sea-Watch e.V. Dazu laden wir diejenigen, die sich für den Einsatz der Organisation interessieren, bereits ab 21:30 Uhr zum Gespräch ein. Eine Aktivistin von Sea-Watch e.V. wird mit euch über die alltägliche Arbeit und die derzeitige Kriminalisierung der zivilen Seenotrettung sprechen. Im Anschluss daran wird es eine Führung durch eine Fotoausstellung geben, die einen 19-tägigen Standoff der Sea-Watch 3 im Dezember 2018 dokumentiert und viele spannende Geschichten erzählt.

In the golden shimmer of the sun, August shows its most beautiful side. On the fourth Saturday in August, FORMS & FIGURES invites you to dance under the stars. This is how we create our very own summer night dream out of the tropical night.
Our musical journey begins with MILA STERN. Not only as an experienced DJ, but also with her own events, she shows time and again how important solidarity and humanity are. As part of the Station Endlos Crew she pushes us at the Summer Night Open Air with roughly estimated 123.4 BPM like a vole with rocking rave stick directly towards the dance floor.
After her, SID LE ROCK takes over behind the DJ booth. The born and bread Canadian, also known under his alias Pan/Tone, has been involved in the scene since the 2000s and has relied on such labels as My Favorite Robot, Shitkatapult or Kompakt. His special sound with influences of synth-pop and electro is hard to describe and at the same time it beats us instantly.
In ANNETT GAPSTREAM’s melodic, deep sets we fell in love with at the BdT Festival 2018. Her impulsive and sometimes gloomy interpretation of techno tears even the last ones of the stool, who might not have listened properly until then.
While the sun is already above us, the sound of the closing set is the darkest with SAMO RANE. Since escaping from Iran in 2016, Samo has worked hard on a better world without racism, fascism or sexism. His danceable message conveys the Art bei Ton- resident through his own productions, but also through his podcast series MercyTechno.
We too want to contribute to this vision of a better world. That is why we support the Sea-Watch e.V. project together with you and Suicide Club. We invite those who are interested in the work of the organization to talkt o us starting at 9:30 pm. An activist from Sea-Watch e.V. will talk to you about everyday work and the current criminalization of civilian sea rescue. Following this, there will be a guided tour through a photography exhibition documenting a 19-day standalone of the Sea-Watch 3 in December 2018 and telling many exciting stories.
