Johannes Heil, Markus Suckut and Marco Bailey are the men behind the labels Exile and MBR on which Mikael Jonasson has released this year. The direction of the march is clear. Fat, bouncy techno, which the Swede has constantly developed since the millennium. Local support from the well-played duo Mike Wall and Dominik Vaillant, no further explanation needed.
LoYoTo are Eva Be and Cle. Both have their roots in the early 1990s in Berlin. However, they didn’t get to know each other until 2011. The joint project brings the concentrated experience of the two into a new genre sphere and now the regular Back2Back AllNighters almost serves as a name. The dub nuances of the Grande Dame of the sonar collective and the technical aspects of Martini Brös merge. This can be easily seen on the recently released ‘Lonely Young Tourist EP’.

Fetter, knalliger Techno, den der Schwede seit der Milleniumswende einer konstanten Entwicklung unterzieht. Eingefleischten Lokals Bedarf der Support durch das eingespielte Duo Mike Wall und Dominik Vaillant keiner weiteren Erklärung.

Das gemeinsame Projekt bringt nun die geballte Erfahrung der beiden in einen neuen Genre-Konsens und dient den regelmäßigen Back2Back AllNightern quasi als Namensgeber. Die Dub-Nunancen der Grande Dame des Sonar Kollektivs und die techigen Aspekte von Martini Brös verschmelzen. Gut heraushören lässt sich das auf der kürzlich veröffentlichten Lonely Young Tourist EP.
