Zurecht.

There are things that complement each other so well it is as if they were made for each other. Nachos and guacamole for example or potato pancake and applesauce. In electronic music, techno and EBM go very well together. The gloomy touch of EBM and Coldwave gives the genre its full body and depth. Circa Tapes has perfected this on his three previously released albums, Adam & Eve, Kolektique and Love And Venom. The narrow ridge on which 80s with modern twist touch classic Detroit electro and techno leads to an explosive mixture. It also picks up on Ian P. Christ in his sets and adds new beat and post-punk influences. That the evening is thematically structured in such a way doesn’t happen by chance. The aufnahme + wiedergabe collective, run by Philipp Strobel, has been providing a hotspot for this specific aesthetic in and around Berlin for years. The records and the parties are receiving more and more international attention. And rightly so.
