GUY ONE
The man from Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region of Ghana is one of the most wanted and most respected kologo players in the area. With the help of Philophon label founder Max Weissenfeldt (Poets of Rhythm, Whitefield brothers) he managed to launch an international career, recently crowned with his album "#1", released on Philophon. Guy One will be backed by Weissenfeldt's band The Polyversal Souls.

Miss Red
Born in Haifa, Israel, and now a Berlin resident, Miss Red earned outernational attention with her debut Single "Diss Me Army", produced by UK dubmaster Kevin Martin aka The Bug. Since then she has been shelling audiences all over Europe, UK and beyond with her killer delivery riding on a wave of fat Bashment and Acid Ragga riddims. Red and Bug have continued their collaboration which includes the critically acclaimed mixtape "Murder" as well as the debut album "K.O.", released on Martins new label Pressure. During market hours, Miss Red will play her favourite tunes from wethered jamaican 45s to current releases.

Eli Pavel
A true gem of the Berlin DJ scene, Eli is the friendly face of prolific wax dealer OYE Records, as well as a regular guest in party series as "Kreyol", "Vulcandance", and "Tropical Timewarp", exploring the areas between afrobeat and current bass music. Together with Rita Só she founded her project UNDOTHETABOO.




Frafra Stars
The acoustic version of the evening's main show: a trio consisting of Guy One on lead vocals and kologo and ghanaian gospel singers Florence Adooni and Lizzy Amaliyenga on vocals and percusssions, rpresenting the Frafra culture in northern Ghana while adding an authentic Upper Region market atmosphere for your vinyl shopping spree.
