Mit Cuttin Headz und Ibadan kommen gleich zwei new Yorker Labels mit maximaler Street-Credibility ins Watergate und übernehmen jeweils einen Floor. Cuttin Headz ist das Label von The Martinez Brothers, die sich mit ihren Disco-Loops garnierten Ghetto-House-Krachern auf der ganzen Welt einen Namen gemacht haben und heute unter anderem Legende Kenny Larkin im Schlepptau haben. Den Waterfloor übernimmt Jerome Sydenham mit seinem Label Ibadan, dass in Europa mit Hits wie „Sandcastles“ und „Timbuktu“ bekannt wurde - zwei himmelhochjauchzende Nummern mit Detroiter Wärme im Herzen.

Ibadan Records returns to Watergate for another unforgettable night of legendary proportions. The guests of honor will be The Martinez Brothers joined by Kenny Larkin together representing the sensational sonic imprint Cuttin' Headz.
