For this Dissident, we are reminicenting Valencia's iconic rave and clubbing scene in the good old 80s and 90s. La Ruta del Bakalao emerged as a cultural phenomenon in Valencia following the death of Spanish dictator Francisco Franco in 1973, marking a revival of culture and music. The rave movement, a novel and exhilarating development of the 1980s and 1990s, thrived in Valencia's nightclubs along El Saler highway, notably at venues like Barraca, Spook Factory, Chocolate and Espiral. This vibrant rave scene became a massive cultural movement and hedonistic party revolution, earning recognition as the largest clubbing movement in Spain.
